Canada’s Les Suprêmes Junior made a little bit of history by claiming the first ISU World Junior Synchronized title in Neuchâtel, following in the footsteps of the senior-level Les Suprêmes, the reigning ISU World Synchronized Champions. Three-time and defending champions Fintastic of Finland settled for the silver medal this time and the Skyliners Junior (USA) collected the bronze, their fifth medal at the event.

Les Suprêmes Junior took the lead in the Short Program with a confident performance to “Hide and Seek”, “Ready or Not Here I Come” and “Mind Heist” with over three points to spare (74.01 points). The Canadians built on their lead with their flawless Free Skating set to “Genius”, “Einstein”, “Noble Worlds and Deeds” and “Theory of Light”, telling the story of Albert Einstein. They had Einstein’s formulas printed on their costumes to reflect their theme.

A synchronized team consists of 16 skaters (plus up to four alternates).

The ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships were originally held biennially since 2013 and are held annually since 2017. Neuchâtel hosted the event for the second time after 2019.
