Tamara Moskvina (RUS)

Moskvina’s Pairs have won a total of 69 medals at Olympic Games, ISU World and European Championships, which makes her the most successful Pair Skating coach in the World. She coached four couples to Olympic gold: Elena Valova/Oleg Vasiliev (1984), Natalia Mishkutenok/Artur Dmitriev (1992), Oksana Kazakova/Artur Dmitriev (1998) and Elena Berezhnaia/Anton Sihkarulidze (2002). Most recently, his student Lisa Tuktamysheva earned the silver medal at the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2021.

Jayne Torvill / Christopher Dean (GBR)

British Ice Dancers Torvill and Dean revolutionized the sport with their immortal “Bolero” that won them Olympic gold in 1984. But there is so much more to them than the “Bolero”. Torvill and Dean brought Ice Dance to another level. Their passionate Rhumba Original Set Pattern Dance from 1994 has been developed into a Compulsory Dance, for example. They continued to create unique programs in shows and tours and as choreographers.

Guest star: James Morisson

Morrison was influenced by the music his parents listened to at a young age. His mother was a soul enthusiast, while his father enjoyed folk and country music. In 2006, he achieved worldwide success with his “Undiscovered” album, that included “You Give Me Something”. It was top of the UK album Charts as of the first week of its release and made Morrison the best-selling Male Solo Artist of 2006 in the UK. In 2007 he received Best British Male Solo Artist at the BRIT Awards.

ISU Skating Awards 2020

A long process lead to the final vote. The first long list of candidates were based on the results and experiences at the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating individual events and Final, ISU European Figure Skating Championships and ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships of the 2019/20 season. That list was then submitted to votes by the public, media and ISU Members between December 1, 2019 and February 10, 2020, which determined the three nominees in each category, that were announced on June 26, 2020.

The Jury had the responsibility of choosing the winner of each category among the nominees, who were revealed live on the ISU Skating Awards.

The winners of the premier ISU Skating Awards 2020 were revealed during the online ceremony hosted by Tanith and Charlie White on July 11, 2020. Re-watch the show on demand to relive the excitement. And if you just want to know who won…. well… The winners are….
