The International Skating Union (ISU) is pleased to announce the signature of an Anti-Doping Service Agreement with the International Testing Agency (ITA) in the areas of “Long Term Storage Program” and “Whistleblowing Platform and Intelligence & Investigations Watch”.

Further to ISU Communication No. 2446 and after having received ISU Members’ applications, the ISU recognized the following Ice Dance Seminars for Referees and Judges: Seoul, Korea April 15 – 17, 2022 Dortmund, Germany May 04 – 06, 2022 Beijing, China June 15 – 17, 2022 Gdansk, Poland June 22 – 24, 2022 Brisbane, Australia November 30 – December 02, 2022

Following the conclusion of the reallocation process, in line with ISU Special Regulations and the respective Qualification Systems for XXIV Olympic Winter Games in Beijing 2022 issued by IOC, the final quota places (total and distance/event quotas) for Speed Skating and Short Track Speed Skating have been allocated.

The ISU Medical Commission recently conducted a webinar that was presided by Jane Moran, Chair Medical Commission who was also joined by the Medical team from the BOCOG as panelists, in a discussion regarding the medical protocols at the Beijing Games.

In accordance with the ISU Constitution, the ISU Council has considered and adopted a revised version of the ISU Code of Ethics.In accordance with the ISU Constitution, the ISU Council has considered and adopted a revised version of the ISU Code of Ethics.This Communication contains the ISU Code of Ethics 2022 and replaces Communication 2342 with immediate effect. Changes compared to the previous version are underlined.

In accordance with the Article 21 of the ISU Constitution and ISU Communication No. 2427, elections for the ISU Athletes Commission are to take place in 2022. The ISU eLearning has made available the recording of the online workshop on Program Components initially broadcasted live on July 5, 2021 as part of the week-long online seminars for Figure Skating Judges and Referees.  

After a tumultous 2020-21 season, the Pure as Ice campaign was back on the road for the 2021-22 season to unify Skaters in solidarity for Clean Sport.

Application to hold ISU Sponsored and Recognized Single & Pair Skating Judges’ Seminars 2022.

The ISU has refined the Centers of Excellence (CoE) concept and is launching the application process for the new cycle - the Official Phase of the ISU CoE for the period 2022 to 2026.

The ISU invites ISU Members to submit bid applications to host ISU Championships during seasons 2024/25, 2025/26 and 2026/27.
