Online voting took place between June 15-22, 2021 on the Proposals included in the summary of Proposals from ISU Members, the Council, the Sports Directors and Technical Committees for changes in the Constitution, General Regulations and Special Regulations. The World's best Figure Skaters including Olympic Champion Yuzuru Hanyu (JPN), reigning World Champions Nathan Chen (USA), Anna Shcherbakova (RUS), Anastasia Mishina/Alexander Galliamov (RUS) and Victoria Sinitsina/Nikita Katsalapov (RUS), European Champions, Olympic, World and European medalists are getting ready to compete in the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating series 2021/22 in the Olympic season.

Sometimes just one photo and two words can change a lot. A little over a year ago, on May 17, the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, four-time ISU World Ice Dance Champion Guillaume Cizeron of France posted a photo of him and his boyfriend, with a simple message “Celebrate love”. With the ongoing uncertainty surrounding international travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Skate Canada informed the International Skating Union it has cancelled the second ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating, the event was scheduled to take place from August 25-28, 2021, at Meadows Arena in Edmonton Canada.

Italian Pair Skaters Nicole Della Monica/Matteo Guarise have been competing at the World level for nine years and have three-top eight finished under their belts. The International Skating Union (ISU) has published the International Single & Pair Skating, Ice Dance and Synchronized Skating Competitions for the season 2021/22.

Sweden’s Josefin Taljegard’s dreams came true at the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2021 in Stockholm: Competing in her very first World Championships, she not only skated two clean programs on home ice, but also earned an Olympic quota place for her country. Plus the 25-year-old drew attention with her captivating Free Skating program to “Joker”.

The ISU Council decided to provisionally allot the following ISU Championships for the seasons 2022/23 and 2023/24.

The four-part short-form documentary series follows the stories of five athletes who competed in the 2021 Speed Skating Hub, that took place in Heerenveen, The Netherlands, in January and February and Premieres Friday, July 2 via the ISU Newsletter.

Figure Skating is a sport that combines athletic skills with art like no other. Skaters perform elements of highest difficulty and at the same time interpret the music and dance. The ability to bring across emotions plays, in addition to all technical skills, a key role for success. Kevin Aymoz of France is one of those skaters who has that package.
