Patricia St. Peter was re-elected to the Figure Skating Branch of the ISU Council in June 2022 and has served as an ISU Council member since June 2016. Previously she was elected to the first ISU Disciplinary Commission in June 2004 and was a Disciplinary Commission member from 2004 to June 2006.

Patricia has served the sport of figure skating at every level including as a Coach (1971-1983); U.S. National Singles & Pairs Judge and National Referee, (2002-present); Chair of the U.S. Figure Skating Ethics Committee (2000-2004) and SafeSport Committee (2019-2020); member of the U.S. Figure Skating Board of Directors (2004-06; 2007-2018); executive member of the Organizing Committees for the 1998 ISU World Figure Skating Championships and the first ever ISU World Synchronized Skating Championship in 2000; Trustee of the U.S. Figure Skating Foundation Board (2009-2018); member of numerous U.S. Figure Skating Committees including Strategic Planning, Competitions, Referee Education and Training, Membership, Audit, and Compensation; and U.S. Figure Skating Vice-President (Midwest) (2007-2009). In 2009, Patricia was elected President of U.S. Figure Skating and served as President from 2009 to 2014.

Professionally, Patricia is an attorney in the United States. Throughout her career, she handled high stakes business litigation matters at the trial court and appellate court levels in federal and state courts in over 30 jurisdictions in the United States.  She also was very active in law firm management, serving during two periods as managing partner of the firm’s largest office in Minneapolis, MN (1998-2003; 2012-2017). She also served as the law firm’s Diversity Coordinator (2009-2016).

Patricia received a B.A. in French and a teaching degree in Secondary Education from Hamline University and her Juris Doctor (JD) degree from William Mitchell College of Law.

Patricia is married to Tom Darden and they have a daughter and live in Naples, Florida.
