The world only moves forward when we move together. Usain Bolt, Yusra Mardini, Naomi Osaka and Tony Hawk highlight the incredible resilience and strength they have shown throughout this difficult time - a strength that has provided the hope and inspiration to the world.
As a celebration of Olympic Day, the world is invited to ‘Get Stronger Together’. A full program of activities is lined up with athletes throughout the day to provide inspiration and tools to help get everyone physically and mentally stronger.
Activities range from live chats with athletes and tips on mindfulness and wellbeing to live work-outs and the exciting final of the first Olympic Virtual Series broadcast live throughout the day. Stay active on #OlympicDay and visit @Olympics social and digital channels to find out more.
In this spirit, the International Skating Union (ISU) also invites you to join This is #UpAgain, as athletes celebrate life back on the ice, share how they stay strong and have the opportunity to thank those who supported them through tough times. #UpAgain is an emotional and inspiring campaign based on one simple principle: we must overcome life’s challenges to achieve our full potential.
As part of the campaign, The #UpAgain Show, on Skating ISU YouTube Channel, hosted by TV Presenter, Elma Smit, welcomes some of the world’s greatest ice-skating stars and deep dives into their extraordinary stories. You can also tune into The Ice Skating Podcast and don’t forget to sign up to the ISU Newsletter. This is #UpAgain, a documentary series, which will give a closer insight into the return of International Competitions will be available in “avant premiere” on July 2, 2021, through the ISU Newsletter.
