Are you a talented digital creator, love storytelling and have a passion for ice sports? Get in touch and you might become a content creator or contributor for the International Skating Union (ISU).
The ISU is looking for new talents with a fresh take to expand its pool of freelance content creators and contributors for its global ice skating coverage on the ISU’s digital platforms.
If you are talented, enthusiastic, innovative and creative, have knowledge in Speed Skating, Short Track, Synchronized Skating and/or Figure Skating and have skills in - sports journalism, videography, editing, design, stat analysis, presenting, commentating – then we want to hear from you!
The ISU is looking to increase and improve its digital content output as from the season 2023/24 which starts in August. There is a wide range of events to cover including the Junior Events, ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, ISU World Cup Speed Skating and Short Track, and the ISU Championships, but there are other fun events and projects outside of the competitive calendar.
We are seeking:

Passionate sports writers/bloggers with knowledge of ice skating sports

Multimedia journalists interested in providing on-site or remote social media, video and written coverage of ISU Events

On-camera personalities to conduct interviews and act as the host on ISU Social media handles

Graphic designers capable of working on graphic packages for social media and video content

Videographers to record interviews, edit videos, and create highlight packages

Commentators and analysts providing context and adding storytelling to live streams
You should have the following skills:

Motivated self-starter that are looking to further develop their portfolio

Must be over the age of 18

Comfortable speaking and writing in English language and other languages an asset

Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed, either onsite or remotely
