The International Skating Union is happy to introduce its special correspondents for the XXIII Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018.

China’s Boyang Jin jumped his way to gold as the ISU Four Continents Championships 2018 concluded with the Men’s Free Skating Saturday in Taipei. World silver medalist Shoma Uno of Japan earned the silver medal and Jason Brown (USA) rose from fourth to take the bronze. 

World Junior bronze medalist Kaori Sakamoto led the Japanese Ladies' charge to the Four Continents podium in Taipei on Friday. Sakamoto skated elegantly to gold, while 2017 Four Continents champion Mai Mihara took the silver medal and 2016 Four Continents champion Satoko Miyahara settled for bronze. 

Elise Christie (GBR) is driven by the heartache she suffered at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games following penalities in all three of her events.

Tarah Kayne/Danny O’Shea (USA) clinched gold as the Pairs event at the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships concluded with the Free Skating on Friday in Taipei. Ashley Cain/Timothy Leduc (USA) earned the silver medal while Tae Ok Ryom/Ju Sik Kim took bronze to give the Democratic People's Republic of Korea its first medal at an ISU Figure Skating Championship.

“I literally owe my life to speed skating,” says Laurent Dubreuil. Both his father and mother were Olympic speed skaters back in 1988 and 1992.

World silver medalist Shoma Uno of Japan edged ahead of China’s World bronze medalist Boyang Jin in the Men’s Short Program at the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships in Taipei on Thursday. Keiji Tanaka (JPN) follows in third place.

Four years after winning the World Junior title, Kaitlin Hawayek/Jean-Luc Baker (USA) returned to the top of the podium at an ISU Championship, winning gold at the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships Thursday in Taipei. 

Led by 2016 Four Continents champion Satoko Miyahara, the Japanese Ladies dominated the Short Program at the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships in Taipei on Wednesday. The 2017 World Junior bronze medalist Kaori Sakamoto came second, while defending Four Continents champion Mai Mihara was third.

Ashley Cain/Timothy Leduc (USA) snatched a narrow lead in the Pairs Short Program as the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships continued in Taipei, Chinese Taipei on Wednesday. Australia’s World Junior Pairs champions Ekaterina Alexandrovskaya/Harley Windsor are trailing the leaders by just 0.31 points in second place, while Tarah Kayne/Danny O’Shea (USA) are only 1.02 points behind the leaders in third. All three teams set personal bests in the event.

Former World Junior champions Kaitlin Hawayek/Jean-Luc Baker (USA) danced to the lead as the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships opened Wednesday with the Short Dance in Taipei. Kana Muramoto/Chris Reed of Japan came second and Canadians Carolane Soucisse/Shane Firus are currently ranked third.

The ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships 2018 will open in Taipei, Chinese Taipei, Wednesday.  A total of 103 skaters from 15 ISU members have been entered for the Championships that are a last test before the Olympic Winter Games for World silver  medalist Shoma Uno (JPN), 2015 World silver medalist Satoko Miyahara (JPN) and other skaters ...
