Two-time ISU World Figure Skating Ice Dance medalists Madison Hubbell/Zachary Donohue (USA) added a third consecutive Skate America title to their long list of achievements with a confident victory in Las Vegas (USA) Saturday. Kaitlyn Hawayek/Jean-Luc Baker (USA) claimed the silver medal and Christina Carreira/Anthony Ponomarenko (USA) earned the bronze.

Alexa Scimeca Knierim/Brandon Frazier (USA) have been skating together for only a few months and celebrated a golden debut at Guaranteed Rate Skate America in Las Vegas (USA) on Saturday. The silver medal went to Jessica Calalang/Brian Johnson (USA) while Audrey Lu/Misha Mitrofanov (USA) clinched the bronze. It was the first ISU Grand Prix medal for both Calalang/Johnson and Lu/Mitrofanov, while it was the first Grand Prix gold medal for Scimeca Knierim and Frazier who had stood on the podium before with their previous partners.

Two-time ISU World Figure Skating Champion Nathan Chen (USA) cruised to his fourth Skate America title in Las Vegas Saturday. Vincent Zhou (USA) earned the silver medal and Keegan Messing of Canada took the bronze.

Mariah Bell (USA) claimed her first ISU Grand Prix title at Guaranteed Rate Skate America in Las Vegas (USA) Saturday. Teammates Bradie Tennell and Audrey Shin collected the silver and bronze medals.

Two-time ISU World Figure Skating Ice Dance medalists Madison Hubbell/Zachary Donohue (USA) shone in the Rhythm Dance to take the lead at Guaranteed Rate Skate America in Las Vegas (USA) on Friday. Kaitlyn Hawayek/Jean-Luc Baker (USA) are currently ranked second ahead of  Christina Carreira/Anthony Ponomarenko (USA).

The new team of Alexa Scimeca Knierim/Brandon Frazier (USA) stormed into the lead in the Pairs Short Program at Guaranteed Rate Skate America in Las Vegas (USA) on Friday. Jessica Calalang/Brian Johnson (USA) and Audrey Lu/Misha Mitrofanov (USA) came second and third respectively.

Two-time ISU World Figure Skating Champion Nathan Chen (USA) skated to a strong lead of 12 points in the Men’s Short Program ahead of Vincent Zhou (USA) and Canada’s Keegan Messing on Friday at the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Guaranteed Rate Skate America.

Multiple ISU Grand Prix medalist Mariah Bell (USA) captured the lead over teammate Bradie Tennell as the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Guaranteed Rate Skate America opened with Ladies Short Program Friday in Las Vegas (USA). Audrey Shin (USA) sits in third place.

At its last meeting on October 16, 2020 the Council approved the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Calendar for the season 2021/22.

The ISU was informed of the cancellation of the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating – Internationaux de France, that was scheduled to take place from November 13-15, 2020 in Grenoble (FRA).

Famous Speed Skating coach Ab Krook has died due to a stroke at the age of 76 on Tuesday 13 October. As the national coach of the Dutch Men and Ladies and the West-German team in the 1980s and 1990s, Krook was a household name in International Speed Skating.

The ISU was informed of the cancellation of the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating – Skate Canada International, that was scheduled to take place from October 30-31, 2020 in Ottawa (CAN).
