The initiative launched in 2018 to support Skaters who have retired within the previous 4 seasons to become Coaches, Officials, Administrators or any other appropriate function connected to Skating will continue in 2019. Further details of the application process can be found in ISU Communication No. 2252 and the deadline for nominations is June 30, 2019.

The Development Commission invites ISU Members to put forward for consideration the names of Coaches of Speed Skating and Short Track Speed Skating, who fulfil the requirements of ISU Communication No. 2052. Such support is available for a maximum of 4 Coaches.
