The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final will be taking place in Nagoya, Japan on December 7-10 and all Figure Skating fans will be getting backstage access through our special guest who will be reporting from the event. We have the pleasure of presenting Cathy Reed, ice dancer, coach and choreographer extraordinaire.

Cathy, 30, is a retired ice dancer, who competed with her brother Chris for Japan at the international level from 2006 to 2015. She is a two-time Olympian (2010 and 2014), seven-time Japanese Champion and participated with Chris in eight World Championships, with their best result placing 13th in 2011.

Born and raised in the USA, Cathy's mother is Japanese, her father is American. Her younger brother Chris continues to compete with his new partner Kana Muramoto and her younger sister Allison is an ice dancer as well, competing for Lithuania.

Cathy, who studied graphic design, retired from competition in spring 2015 and relocated to Japan to work as a coach and choreographer. She will bring you interviews, stories and access to different parts of the event. You can see all the activities and content on the official ISU social media platforms.
