The International Skating Union (ISU) is truly appalled and deeply saddened by the findings of the Schmid Report and fully respects the IOC's decision. The decision of the IOC to suspend the Russian NOC and create a path for clean individual athletes to compete in PyeongChang 2018 under the Olympic flag can be found here

Within the context of the Oswald Commission hearings, the ISU has not yet received the motivated IOC decision on the verdicts and imposed IOC suspensions related to the Russian Speed Skaters Olga Fatkulina and Aleksander Rumantsev. Once the IOC Disciplinary Commission has issued its full motivated decision and mindful of the ongoing Speed Skating season, the ISU will undertake the urgent necessary steps within the competence of the ISU. The ISU statement  on IOC sanctions Russian Speed Skaters dated November 24, 2017 is also available.
