ISU Communication No. 1872 cancels and replaces ISU Communication No. 1694.

In addition to its Blood Screening Program as outlined in Communication 1871 the ISU herewith implements the ISU Haematological Module of the Athlete Biological Passport Program.  The main purpose of the program is to faciliate indirect detection of doping substances and methods in order to make the fight against doping  more efficient. The ISU H-ABP is carried out in full compliance with the “WADA Athletes Biological Passport Operating Guidelines and Compilation of Required Elements“ (hereafter referred to as “WADA ABP Guidelines“).
