As part of the ISU’s global training and development network of Centers of Excellence (CoEs), the Olympic Oval in Calgary, Canada, is launching its training program for the upcoming Olympic season—welcoming Speed Skating and Short Track athletes as well as teams from around the world.

The ISU Centers of Excellence combine first-class training environments, comprehensive support, and international collaboration. Calgary’s Olympic Oval stands out not only for its world-renowned Fastest Ice in the World™ but also for its remarkable legacy - more than 35 years of excellence, 36 Olympic medals, and countless personal bests.
Athletes fulfilling the criteria and training at the Calgary CoE may benefit from an integrated performance environment that includes:
