The International Skating Union (ISU) is aware of the situation related to cases of the hantavirus aboard MV Hondius and its docking in Tenerife (Spain).

ISU will continue to monitor the circumstances ahead of the 60th Ordinary ISU Congress there next month and is committed to following the guidance of the World Health Organization and local public health authorities, as well as to maintaining updates for attending delegates, including ISU Council members, Member Federations and distinguished guests. The wellbeing of all event participants remains our top priority.
