Applications for ISU Four Continents Speed Skating and Short Track Speed Skating Championships, season 2019/20
The ISU Development Commission asks for applications from ISU Members for support for former Skaters who wish to become a Coach, an Official or an administrator for the Skating sports.
In order to make timely decisions and allocate the necessary budget amounts for learning content selection and production, a Project Group composed of experts covering all ISU disciplines has been established, replacing previous Working Groups.
In accordance with Article 21 of the 2018 ISU Constitution, this Communication sets out the composition, purpose and election procedures of the ISU Athletes Commission. The elections will take place at selected ISU Championships during the 2018/19 season.
Following the recent announcement that the above-mentioned ISU Event would not be held in Seoul, KOR as initially planned due to internal issues within the Korea Skating Union (KSU), the ISU is pleased to announce the relocation of this Event to Montreal, CAN, at the Arena Maurice Richard.
This Communication contains detailed information on the entry quotas, entry conditions and qualifying times for the ISU Short Track Speed Skating Championships 2019.
The ISU has been informed by the Korea Skating Union that due to internal issues, the ISU World Cup & the ISU World Junior Championships cannot be held as planned in Seoul.
The Development Commission invites ISU Members to put forward for consideration the names of Coaches of Speed Skating, Short Track Speed Skating or both, who fulfil the requirements of the ISU.
The ISU Short Track Speed Skating Technical Committee, through the support of the ISU Development Program, will conduct a live stream on the latest changes to the Special Regulations and Technical Rules for the season 2018/19.
