World Junior bronze medalist Kaori Sakamoto led the Japanese Ladies' charge to the Four Continents podium in Taipei on Friday. Sakamoto skated elegantly to gold, while 2017 Four Continents champion Mai Mihara took the silver medal and 2016 Four Continents champion Satoko Miyahara settled for bronze.

Ashley Cain/Timothy Leduc (USA) earned the silver medal while Tae Ok Ryom/Ju Sik Kim took bronze to give the Democratic People's Republic of Korea its first medal at an ISU Figure Skating Championship.

Four years after winning the World Junior title, Kaitlin Hawayek/Jean-Luc Baker (USA) returned to the top of the podium at an ISU Championship, winning gold at the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships Thursday in Taipei.

Ashley Cain/Timothy Leduc (USA) snatched a narrow lead in the Pairs Short Program as the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships continued in Taipei, Chinese Taipei on Wednesday. Australia’s World Junior Pairs champions Ekaterina Alexandrovskaya/Harley Windsor are trailing the leaders by just 0.31 points in second place, while Tarah Kayne/Danny O’Shea (USA) are only 1.02 points behind the leaders in third. All three teams set personal bests in the event.
