The ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series continues with the Cup of China in Chongqing (CHN). It is the fourth of six events of the Series in which the world’s best Figure Skaters try to qualify for the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final 2023/24 in Beijing (CHN) next month. ISU World Champion Shoma Uno (JPN) will compete in his first event, as others including Adam Siao Him Fa (FRA), Loena Hendrickx (BEL) and Piper Gilles/Paul Poirier (CAN) look to seal qualification for the ISU Grand Prix Final.

It is with deep regret and sorrow that the ISU has learned of the passing of two-time Olympic Pair Skating Champion Oleg Alekseevitch Protopopov, who died at the age of 91 on October 31, 2023 in Interlaken, Switzerland.

Lia Pereira/Trennt Michaud (CAN) took their first ISU Grand Prix gold medal as competition wrapped up with the Pairs Free Skating at the Grand Prix de France Saturday in Angers (FRA). The Grand Prix de France is the third of six events in the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating series that features top Figure Skaters competing and collecting points to qualify for the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final 2023/24 in Beijing (CHN) on December 7-10. 

ISU European Champion Adam Siao Him Fa (FRA) stole the show on home ice as the ISU Grand Prix de France in Angers continued Saturday with the Men’s Free Skating. The Grand Prix de France is the third of six events in the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating series with the best Figure Skaters of the World competing for points towards the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final 2023/24 in Beijing (CHN) on December 7-10. 

ISU World silver medalists Charlene Guignard/Marco Fabbri claimed their third ISU Grand Prix at the Grand Prix de France in Angers (FRA) Saturday. The Grand Prix de France is the third of six events in the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating series. The World’s top skaters competed in the series hoping to qualify for the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final 2023/24 in Beijing (CHN) on December 7-10. 

Isabeau Levito (USA) celebrated her first ISU Grand Prix win and qualified for the ISU Grand Prix Final as theGrand Prix de France in Angers (FRA) continued Saturday with the Women’s Free Skating. The Grand Prix de France is the third of six events in the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating series where the best Figure Skaters of the World compete and collect points towards the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final 2023/24 in Beijing (CHN) on December 7-10.

During the ISU World Cup Short Track in Montreal on Sunday 29 October 2023 the Final A race of the Women’s 3000 meters Relay witnessed a dramatic turn of events. Skaters from all four competing teams experienced falls in the race's final stages, which extends over 27 laps (each lap is normally concluded in about 9 seconds).

Japan’s Sota Yamamoto skated to his first ISU Grand Prix gold medal Saturday, in what was a turbulent Men’s final at Skate Canada International. 

Canada’s Deanna Stellato-Dudek/Maxime Deschamps smashed their personal best scores en route to a runaway win in the Pairs event at Skate Canada International on Saturday, finishing more than 25 points ahead of their closest rival.

Reigning ISU World bronze medalists Piper Gilles/Paul Poirier of Canada skated to their fourth consecutive Skate Canada Ice Dance title on Saturday, with almost 10 points to spare.
