The Qualification Systems for the 4th Winter Youth Olympic Games (hereafter called YOG) for all three ISU disciplines (Figure Skating, Speed Skating and Short Track Speed Skating) have been approved by the IOC Executive Board.

A total of 72 athletes will be admitted as participants for Speed Skating.

To be eligible to participate in the Winter Youth Olympic Games Gangwon 2024, all male and female athletes must be born between 1 January 2006 and 31 December 2009.

ISU Members/NOCs are requested to take these age restrictions into account when confirming or rejecting YOG Quota Places and when entering the athletes.

On the basis of the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships 2023, an initial set of YOG Quota Places has been assigned to the respective NOCs/Members.

The assignment of remaining YOG Quota Places to be allocated to NOCs/Members will be based on the results from individual events held on the occasion of the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating during the Autumn of 2023.

In accordance with the YOG Qualifying System the ISU herewith announces the provisional YOG Quota Places for entries to the YOG 2023 for Figure Skating.
