Wakaba Higuchi (JPN) came out on top as the Women’s competition at the ISU Grand Prix Skate America concluded Saturday in Allen, TX (USA) with a Free Skating finale full of twists and turns.

The first 2024 Skate America Champions have been crowned: Reigning World silver medalists Riku Miura/Ryuichi Kihara (JPN) skated to their first ISU Grand Prix Skate America title in the Pairs Free Skating Saturday in Allen, TX (USA).

Lilah Fear/Lewis Gibson (GBR) captured the gold medal as competition at the ISU Grand Prix Skate America wrapped up with an exciting Free Dance event Sunday in Allen, TX (USA).

Lilah Fear/Lewis Gibson (GBR) created the first big surprise of the second competition day at the ISU Grand Prix Skate America, placing first in the Rhythm Dance ahead of reigning ISU World Champions Madison Chock/Evan Bates (USA) Saturday in Allen, TX (USA).  

Reigning ISU World Champion Ilia Malinin (USA) won his third consecutive ISU Grand Prix Skate America title in what was a nail-biter of a final at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, TX (USA) on Sunday.

Reigning ISU World silver medalists Riku Miura/Ryuichi Kihara (JPN) skated to a strong lead as the ISU Grand Prix Skate America kicked off with an exciting Pairs Short Program Friday in Allen, TX (USA).

ISU 2024 World silver medalist Isabeau Levito (USA) took the lead in the Women’s Short Program as the first day of competition wrapped up at Skate America in Allen, TX (USA) Friday. It was a close competition filled with beautiful performances and the emotional comeback of Bradie Tennell (USA).

Reigning ISU World Champions Ilia Malinin (USA), Madison Chock/Evan Bates (USA) – as well as World and European medalists – are ready to kick off the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating series 2024/25 at Skate America in Allen, TX (USA) this Friday on the road to the ISU Grand Prix Final.

The wait is over! Don’t miss the action as the world’s best Figure Skaters take to the ice from this week in the pre-Olympic season ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating series 2024/25. All four reigning World Champions – Ilia Malinin (USA), Kaori Sakamoto (JPN), Deanna Stellato-Dudek/Maxime Deschamps (CAN) and Madison Chock/Evan Bates (USA) – as well as Olympic and World medalists, and European Champions and medalists, will be among those skating for glory.

Five Single Skaters and one Ice Dance couple grabbed the last available tickets for the ISU Junior Final at the seventh and last event of the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series 2024/25 in Wuxi (CHN).  It was an exciting competition highlighted by spectacular performances and emotions. Winners Ami Nakai (JPN), Rio Nakata (JPN) and Elliana Peal/Ethan Peal (USA) left China not only with the gold medal but with their spot in the Junior Final.  

In Figure Skating, points are earned through two main components: the Technical Element Score (TES) and the Program Component Score (PCS). These two sections are carefully judged and combined to determine a Skater’s overall score.

The excitement grows as we get closer to the end of the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series 2024/25 with the sixth event in Ljubljana (SLO) and less and less spots for the ISU Junior Final are left. Sophie Joline von Felten (USA) came out of nowhere to claim the title and suddenly is in contention for the Junior Final. Jacob Sanchez (USA) secured his second victory and spot in the Final while in an interesting Ice Dance competition Iryna Pidgaina/Artem Kovalev (UKR) had the upper hand and are headed to Grenoble as well.
