ISU eLearning presents a series of modules related to Strategic and Mental Capabilities. The physical body is important as an athlete but understanding the mental capabilities of you and your team, as well as putting the best strategies in place, are equally essential for success. Although they have been primarily developed for Speed Skating Branch, the modules will also be of interest to Figure Skaters and Coaches.
Referring to ISU Communication 2320, the ISU Council reconfirms that the ISU will give its utmost support to ISU Members in order to stage all planned ISU Events that can safely be held during the season 2020/21.
The Development Commission invites applications for the 2020 Visiting ISU Coach initiative. Applications should be submitted by June 26, 2020 on the application form in Appendix A.
The ISU invites ISU Members to submit applications to host ISU Championships in all disciplines for the season 2022/23 and for tentative allotments of Speed Skating and Short Track Speed Skating Championships for the seasons 2023/24 and 2024/25.

The sixth edition of the Pure as Ice 2019/20 took place at the ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships in Nottingham, Great Britain at the National Ice Center and Motorport Arena in collaboration with Smart Test AntiDoping.
ISU eLearning and iCoachKids (iCK), an Erasmus+ co-funded eLearning program, have partnered together to present a series of coaching education modules, specifically focused on coaching children aged 5-12.

Considering the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the continued negative developments world-wide, the ISU Council has concluded that maintaining the 2020 ISU Congress on the planned dates of June 8-12, 2020 is no longer an option. The same applies to a short-term postponement until later in the summer of 2020.
The fifth edition of the Pure as Ice 2019/20 took place at the ISU World Figure Skating Championships in Tallinn, Estonia at the Viru Sokos hotel (Skater’s official hotel) with the support of the Estonian Skating Union and in collaboration with the Estonian Anti-Doping Agency.
Due to the continued and increasingly negative Coronavirus/ COVID-19 developments, the Council has further reviewed meetings and seminars scheduled to be held between June and August 2020 and decided to cancel all meetings and seminars planned during the period until the end of August 2020.
