On October 17, 2023, during the 141st  International Olympic Committee (IOC) Session that was held in Mumbai, India, the ISU President, Jae Youl Kim, was elected as IOC Member.

It is with great pride that the International Skating Union (ISU) congratulates its President for this esteemed position, that marks a new milestone in the ISU’s unwavering commitment and support to the Olympic movement and the values it holds. The ISU is honoured by the opportunity to further strengthen its collaboration with the IOC and excited to contribute to the promotion of sports in society.
