The ISU Ice Dance Technical Committee, with cooperation of Skate Canada and U.S. Figure Skating, is organizing a Special Sponsored Topic Seminar for Judges, Technical Panel, Coaches and Couples on the new Pattern Dance - Tea Time Foxtrot - Detroit, Michigan, April 27-28, 2019.

ISU Members are invited to submit applications for the following ISU Championships for the year 2022 as well as the not yet allotted ISU Championships for the year 2021.

Media are informed that the media accreditations for the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2019 taking place in Saitama (JPN) on March 18 - 24, 2019, are now open.

The Pure As Ice campaign continued in collaboration with CCES at the ISU World Junior Short Track Speed Skating Championships in Montreal.

Further to ISU Communication No. 2208 and after having received ISU Members’ applications, the ISU recognized the following Seminars for Referees and Judges.

The ISU's campaign to promote clean sport continued in Minsk (BLR) with the Pure As Ice campaign which was at the ISU European Figure Skating Championships in collaboration with tthe NADA in Belarus.

Further to ISU Communication No. 2209 and after having received ISU Members applications, the ISU recognized three Ice Dance Seminars for Referees and Judges.

This Communication summarizes the main general obligations of ISU Members, according to the ISU Statutes and according to established procedures. This does not alter the obligation of ISU Members to adhere to those Rules contained in the ISU Statutes which are not specifically referred to in this Communication.

The ISU is moving forward with the ISU Centers of Excellence initiative. 

All Officials who continue to meet the criteria as outlined in the Special Regulations and who, considering the period of time elapsed since their initial appointment, require re-certification are eligible for acceptance to the Frankfurt Seminar 2019 – re-certification program.

The ISU redesigns the navigation on its website to enhance user experience.

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) announces that its 2019 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods (List), which was first published on 28 September 2018, has entered into force on January 1st, 2019.

The ISU Council has provisionally allotted the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final 2019 to the Federazione Italiana Sport del Ghiaccio (FISG).

Following changes adopted by the 2018 ISU Congress regarding Rule 102, paragraph 6, ISU Communication No. 2221 replaces and complements ISU Communication No. 2055 as well as enforces and re-enforces provisions outlined in other ISU Communications.
