The 57th Ordinary ISU Congress continued on June 7, 2018 with the Figure Skating Branch session. The Speed Skating session was finalized on the previous day.

The ‘Road to Ice’ skate week, taking place at Thialf, Heerenveen, from July 9-14, 2018, is a unique event dedicated to introducing Inline skaters to the disciplines on ice of Speed Skating and Ice Short Track Speed Skating.

The 57th Ordinary ISU Congress continued on June 5, 2018. The morning consisted of the full ISU Congress who voted on Proposals 22 to 86 and relevant Urgent Matters relating to the ISU Constitution and General Regulations.

The 57th Ordinary ISU Congress opened on June 4, 2018 with a welcome message by the ISU President Mr. Jan Dijkema and a minute’s silence was held in memory of great friends of the ISU who are no longer with us.

In order to strengthen the International Skating Union (ISU) brand, the ISU has embarked on a rebranding journey. Today, it launches the first phase of its new Corporate Identity.

The first Oceania International Novice Figure Skating Competition and Coaches Seminar took place in Melbourne, Australia from May 16-20, 2018.

This Communication replaces with immediate effect ISU Communication No. 1974 as a consequence of the EU Commission Decision dated December 8, 2017 and subsequent implementation discussions with the EU Commission.

The ISU Council and Development Commission are pleased to launch a process to establish ISU Centers of Excellence, with the aim to further develop ice skating worldwide across all disciplines.

The Northern Development Project organises a coaches’ education for speed skating, on level 2. Level 2 coaches have the ability to work on club level in their own country.

The 57th ISU Ordinary Congress will take place in Seville Spain on June 4 – 8, 2018. Over 350 delegates are expected to meet at the Barcelo Renacimiento, including ISU Office Holders and delegations from ISU Member Federations.

The ISU is looking for a passionate and committed E-learning Education Coordinator to fulfill the mission of developing, designing and implementing the ISU on-line curriculum. The job is 50% and is based in Ottawa, Canada.
